The Art of Great Writing

Writing is more than grammar and punctuation. Our writing coaches balance structure with creativity, helping students discover their unique voice, craft compelling narratives, and communicate ideas with clarity and flair.

Understanding the artistry of language helps students learn to write powerfully and persuasively. Writing becomes a skill, a craft, and a lifelong tool for learning, expression, and success.

Wondering if writing challenges are DYSGRAPHIA ?

What Is Dysgraphia?

Dysgraphia is a specific learning disability that affects how a person writes, organizes, and expresses ideas on paper. It’s not about intelligence or effort - it’s about how the brain processes written language.

Students with dysgraphia may experience:

  • Handwriting challenges: Irregular letter formation, slow writing speed, or difficulty using writing tools.

  • Spelling difficulties: Frequent errors, even with familiar or high-frequency words.

  • Organization struggles: Trouble structuring sentences and translating thoughts into written form.

  • Grammar and punctuation issues: Inconsistent use of conventions that can obscure otherwise great ideas.

Not all writing struggles are dysgraphia.
Students may struggle with writing for other reasons and not knowing can lead to misdiagnosis or ineffective intervention.

Lit-Lab’s full academic assessments can tell you if your student needs standard writing tutoring or dysgraphia-specific intervention. Our online assessments identify dysgraphia and other learning disabilities, providing valuable insight into your student’s learning profile and paving a clear path forward with targeted remediation plans.

We can help with that too!
